We're making
damn good things

We build software for print shops. Not for investors, not for trade-show booths. Every tool here exists because a job on our own floor needed it and nothing on the market did it right.

What we own and operate

Three live properties. Each one runs on the same rule: it has to survive a real production day.

01

Printing TLDR

printingtldr.com

Vendor-neutral analysis for large format and DTF. We read the press releases so you don't have to, then say what actually changes on the floor. Buying guides, teardowns, and cost math — no booth talk.

Thirty years of industry experience,
now it's software

I started in electrical and telecom in the 1980s, which meant I learned machines before I learned screens. Large format came next — not running presses, but on the supplier and manufacturer side: product development, sales engineering, technical documentation, training the people who did run the presses, and fixing workflow problems before a shop ever hit them. DTF since 2012, when I was running digital product development at Marabu and started testing direct-to-film years before there was a commercial printer to buy one on.

Somewhere in there I got tired of two things. Vendors telling shops what mattered without ever having to make it work, and software written by people who'd never sat across the table from a shop owner explaining why a workflow was broken. So I started writing both myself — the analysis and the tools. Damn Good Company is where they live.

1980s Electrical and telecommunications trade. Hands on hardware, not theory.
1990s–2000s Sales engineering and product management roles across large format — Olsonic, Schneidler, H-Data. Solving shop workflow problems from the supplier side.
2007 Product Manager Digital, Marabu Scandinavia. Building the Nordic digital print portfolio.
2009 Founded the Large Format Printing Community.
2012 First DTF experiments at Marabu, before commercial DTF printers existed.
2015 Left Marabu, went independent. Web-to-print, workflow, and DTF consulting.
2024 Printing TLDR goes live. Vendor-neutral, floor-level.
2026 DTF Toolbox and Gang Sheet Builder ship out of the same shop.
